Houston band The Suffers had its trailer and “a ton” of gear and instruments stolen over the weekend.
The band was on its way to Sunday’s Homegrown Fest in Dallas when their trailer, after months of problems, began to sputter out. They played the show, then took the trailer to Randall Reed’s Park Cities Ford of Dallas to get fixed.

That’s when things really went south.
“In the middle of the night, someone stole our trailer off the lot. We had to leave the trailer there due to having no alternative option to get it home at the time, and now we are gutted because what we thought would be a safe place to store it, ended up being the worst place,” the band posted on Facebook.
The band is working with the dealership and police to get more details but says it “feels like two major losses at one time.”
A complete list of gear is forthcoming. Anyone who spots a white trailer with Texas license plate 271269J is asked to call the police.
