Google’s wireless gaming service is coming
Google announced details about Stadia-their streaming videogame service-that will arrive this fall. Gamers can now preorder a package called Stadia Founder’s Edition which will come with a Wi-Fi enabled Stadia controller and a Chromecast Ultra to stream the game to your television. While the service will eventually work with much more, the Chromecast-TV version will be all it will launch with in November.
Election security is still a huge problem
While steps have been taken to protect elections from the problems of 2016, a new report outlines the security threats facing the 2020 election and beyond, and proposes paths for managing them. The problem is a lot of those necessary steps won’t be completed by 2020. Still there are steps officials can take by then, and some are better than none.
The new X-Men movie Dark Phoenix is apparently terrible
Rolling Stone called it “The worst movie ever in the X-Men series.” WIRED call it trash. But our reviewer did reveal one cool thing about the movie: the hand gestures (which are apparently pretty awesome).
