Chris Hemsworth Revealed What He Told The Makers Of \

We all know Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland as two of the most iconic actors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing Thor and Spider-Man respectively.

We also know that Hemsworth – like many other actors in the MCU – enjoys nothing more than roasting the hell out of Holland.

Take, for example, the time they interviewed each other as part of the promotional trail for their new movies, and Hemsworth announced the news by referring to Holland as a “competition winner”.

Then Hemsworth began the interview by saying: “Tom, is it? Tom Hiddleston?”

However, it turns out that despite playfully dragging him in public, Hemsworth has actually been incredibly supportive of Holland behind the scenes.

In fact, Hemsworth has now revealed that he played a part in helping Holland land the role of Spider-Man.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Hemsworth explained that he’d been seriously impressed by Holland’s acting ability after working with him on several movies. And so, when it came to the casting of Spider-Man, he put in a call to lobby for Holland to get the lead role.

Hemsworth said: “We worked on In the Heart of the Sea together, obviously, then through Avengers, and as they were casting him for Spider-Man, I did what I could do and made a call. I said he’s one of the most talented people I’ve worked with and has such a big heart and appreciation.”

“We have a great friendship,” Hemsworth added. “It’s a good mutual respect.”
