Italian athleisure and swimwear brand arena has released a new collection for the SS20 season, this time around channeling authenticity, comfort and city-living through their “Icons” streetwear range. Known for its deep involvement in Olympic sports and an affiliation with the legendary Horst Dassler, the brand’s latest additions are an exciting shift towards the more casual and contemporary everyday look.

Creating apparel for sporting icons since 1973, arena’s new range is a detour away from the pool and the gym and a jump into athleisure and lifewear for the busy urbanite. With comfort at the fore of the entire collection, Icons sees a variety of sleek silhouettes built out of triacetate fabrics don a minimalist palette of red, black, blue and white – both harking towards the brand’s signature colors as well as the hues closely tied with the 80s.

Athleisure merged with heritage branding can be spotted on arena’s track-jackets and pants via side stripes and the brand’s well-known three-diamond logo. Similar branding can be found on a selection of T-shirts, leggings, shorts, vests and sweatshirts.
