The Dragon spaceship docks with the space station.

For the second time in less than three weeks, a crew has been delivered to the International Space Station.

The Dragon capsule, carrying the Crew-4 mission for NASA, docked with the space station today. The Dragon trip to the station was the fastest-ever crewed Dragon trip. The Dragon and station were in the middle of the central Pacific Ocean.

The Dragon's hatch, called Freedom, opened at about 9:15 pm. The time is 0115 on April 28. The crew of Crew-4, which included NASA's Kjell Lindgren, Bob Hines, and Jessica Watkins, and the European Space Agency's (ESA)Samantha Cristoforetti, floated aboard the International Space Station.

There are live updates on the Crew-4 astronauts mission for NASA.

The Crew-4 team joined seven astronauts already on the International Space Station.

The population will fall again soon. The crew of the Crew 3 mission will leave for Earth in their own Dragon on May 4.

Crew-4 is the fourth operational mission that the company is flying to the International Space Station for NASA. Its arrival at the station was the second in less than three weeks.

The first time this had ever been done, the Dragon capsule reached the space station with an all-private crew. Three of the four crew members of the space shuttle were paying customers, and they were flying a mission organized by a Houston-based company. The fourth was a former NASA Astronaut, Michael L.pez-Alegr.

Bad weather in the projected splashdown zone pushed the departure of Ax-1 back from April 19 to April 24. The launch of Crew-4 was pushed back from Saturday to Wednesday.

The docking port that Crew-4's is using is the same one that Ax-1's Dragon occupied. NASA wanted to analyze data and make other preparations between the splashdown and Crew-4's launch.

The story was changed at 11:05 pm. On April 27 there will be news of Dragon's hatch opening.
