Apple Music and the iOS App Store are having problems

If you are an Apple user, you might be seeing problems with the App Store or Apple Music. Apple's system status page lists issues affecting all users, without going into detail about what the problems are. Users have noticed problems for a few hours in our tests, but the App Store and Apple Music are generally operational.

Some posters have reported that Apple Music doesn't have the features that it should, such as lyric information, and that it can't play music even if it's downloaded to their local storage for offline listening. Some users said logging in and logging out fixed the missing features, but not the missing lyrics. We were able to confirm the issue with lyrics.

9to5Mac reported earlier that Apple's Privacy Labels weren't showing up on many App Store listings, and that a source confirmed it was a bug that would be fixed soon. There is no official word on when the problems may be solved.
