The button that will let users turn video on or off is being tested. The feature is rolling out to some users and will be coming to other users soon. A video posted by the social media shows that the CC button will be in the top right corner of the video.

The auto-generated caption on videos made them more accessible for hard-of-hearing users. English, Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, Thai, Chinese, Hindi, and many more are available in over 30 languages.

Today's announcement is related to improved alt text accessibility features that were recently launched by Twitter. Images with alt text will now have a ALT badge in the corner. You can see the user-generated image description when you hover over the badge.

Several features have been tested over the past few months. The company is working on a feature that would allow users to set a status on their profiles. It appears that users would be able to set a profile level status and a specific status for a specific message. It is not known if users would be able to create their own custom statuses or if they would only be able to select pre-set ones.
