There are two new types of video projects called "Magic Movie" and "Storyboards" that have been added to the iMovie app for the iPad.
The Magic Movie function instantly creates a custom video from the clips and photos a user selects, with transitions, effects, and music automatically added.
Today, iMovie for macOS was updated with support for Magic Movie and storyboard projects. The free updates are currently available on the App Store.
Final Cut Pro, Compressor, and Motion were updated with better performance on the Mac Studio. The new version of Final Cut Pro can be used to import and create storyboards.
