A new guided tour of privacy and security settings will be added to the Chrome browser. The new guide will have separate pages for each setting, each containing a description of what happens when a feature is turned on. There will be notes on things to consider, such as the fact that turning history sync on means that the URLs you visit will be saved to your account.

The Privacy Guide will look like this, you can see it in the GIF below.

In the coming weeks, the Privacy Guide will be available to all users of the chrome browser. Click on the three-dot menu icon in the top right of your browser and then look on the Privacy and Security tab to access the guide. The Privacy Guide should show up there when it is available.
