A new seaside event pavilion has been added to the property on the Garden Isle.

At the end of March, the Halau Hookipa opened, and the 4,500- square-foot pavilion sits just steps from the sand.

The pavilion can be booked for luau performances, concerts, hula classes and other programming, as well as for weddings, parties, family gatherings and other private events.

The new pavilion at the resort is open on three sides and can be used for larger gatherings. A frame structure with a naturally thatched roof can hold up to 180 people.

The Luau Ka Hikina will be located in the pavilion and will include a torch- lighting ceremony, as well as hula performances.

Adult tickets for the luau start at $159 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
