If you have recently upgraded to an iPhone without a Home button that unlocks using Face ID, you can no longer see the exact battery percentage at the top-right of your Home Screen.

How to show iPhone battery percentage in the status bar

The Control Center can be opened if you have an Apple device with Face ID. The battery percentage is at the top right of the screen.

1. If you have an Home button, open the settings app.

2. To turn on the battery percentage, tap the switch.

3. You will see the battery percentage at the top-right of your screen once this is done.

How to show iPhone battery percentage in your Home Screen

You can keep track of your battery percentage and connected accessories with a Home Screen widget.

1. Hold the background of your Home Screen while your apps wiggle.

2. The plus button is at the top of the screen.

3. The batteries can be tapped.

4. Look through the options left and right. You can add a Widget on the one you want.

5. To confirm your choice, tap Done.
