When you start to notice that working with a computer all day is affecting your vision, or that you are having a hard time seeing what is on the screen, it is time to switch to something else.
If that is the case, you might consider increasing the standard size of your Mac's fonts to help with small text that can be hard to read.
You cannot simply press a button to get it done. There are ways to get the same result.
1. Click the Apple icon in the top left corner of the screen to select System Preferences.
3. Under the main tap, switch from Default for display to Scaled.
4. The text and icons on the screen can be larger with an option to the left of Default.
You may want to change the option a few times to find the right one.
If you don't like how the above method impacts your Mac's display, there is another way to increase the font size that you may wish to use. You can zoom in and out on a Mac computer with a keyboard or a trackpad.
You can increase the size of the windows by pressing the + key and holding the Command button at the same time.
You can reverse the zoom feature by pressing and holding Command and then pressing again until the zoom pop-up reads 100%.
