The possibilities for using third-party apps on the iPhone are near-endless.

The ability to flip any picture straight from your Photos app was added in the newest version of the software. If you need a mirror image for a picture, this is great.

You need a third-party app like Photoshop Express if you have an earlier version of the iPhone.

Here is how to do it.

How to flip a picture on an iPhone running iOS 13 or newer

1. The Photos app is open.

2. To enlarge the photo, tap it to find the photo you want to flip.

3. You can change the settings in the top-right of the screen.

4. A variety of editing options will appear when the picture zooms out. The icon looks like a square with arrows around it.

5. New options will be brought up by this. The icon in the top left looks like a pyramid that has been split in half. Your photo will flip when you tap it.

6. In landscape mode, you can tap Done in the bottom-right.

Just like that, you have a flipped photo.

How to flip a picture on an iPhone using Photoshop Express

This is the option for you if you can't useiOS 13 or haven't downloaded it.

1. If you have already downloaded the app, you can download it again.

2. I chose my email account to sign into the app. Allow the program to access your photos.

3. You can flip your photos by scrolling through them in the app.

4. The crop icon has two right-angles. Many third-party apps use the crop function to flip photos.

5. You can tap on it. There are several options at the bottom of the rotate screen: Straighten, Rotate, Flip Horizontal, and Flip Vertical.

6. To flip horizontal, tap.

7. If you only want to flip your picture, you can tap the Share button at the top of the screen.

There are 8. Go to save. The flipped picture will be added to the Photos app.
