There are several reasons why you might want to block a website on the internet, such as improving your productivity during working hours or preventing children from accessing explicit content.

In this article, we show you how to block websites on Chrome for desktop, iPad, and iPhone.

How to block websites on Chrome on desktop

1. Go to the extension page in the store.

2. Click Add to add an extension in the pop-up.

3. Blocksite will open a new tab in Chrome once installed. Click Accept to accept the terms and begin using the extension.

4. The gear icon is located to the right of the search bar and can be used to access settings. Click the Extensions icon if you don't see it, then click the pin next to BlockSite.

5. Go to the block sites tab to block a website. Click Add item if you enter the URL in the blank bar.

6. You can set up a blocking schedule by clicking the Schedule button.

7. To remove a website from the block list, click the trash icon to the right of the URL.

If you accidentally delete the wrong website, you can add it back by typing in the URL.

When you want to block a website, you can do it by clicking the BlockSite icon. You can block this site.

How to block websites on Chrome on the mobile app for iPhone

1. Go to the settings app.

2. Then tap Screen Time and Privacy Restrictions.

3. First, tap Content Restrictions, then Web Content.

5. You can add a website in the Never Allow section.

6. To block a website, type in the URL.

1. Go to the store. You can download the app.

2. Open the app after you downloaded it. BlockSite can access your privacy settings if you follow the on-screen instructions.

3. Click the plus sign to block a website. Then tap Done to select the website.
