8. A Boeing plane.
As of December 2021, the total deliveries were 1,569.
The production took place from 1968 to present.
Boeing developed a long-range widebody aircraft called the Boeing 747. She took to the skies for the first time on February 9, 1969 and the first jumbo jet was delivered to Pan Am on January 22, 1970.
The president of Pan Am asked Boeing for an aircraft twice the size of the 707. The Jumbo jet was born here. In April 1966 Pan Am ordered 25 Boeing 747-100 aircraft worth US$525 million, which is equivalent to more than $3.2 billion today. The airliner became a sign of prestige and many airlines operated it.
Many variations of the 747 were developed over the years. There was a tri-jet concept that couldn't make it. Most of the major cargo airlines operate the freighter version of the 747. The passenger jet is no longer used by airlines as fuel efficient twinjets such as the A330 and B787 are more popular.
You may not know about the modified versions of the plane.
7. The E-Jet family is from the E-Jet family.

The program was announced in June 1999 and the launch costumers were the Régional Compagnie Aérienne Européenne and Crossair. The type was on display at the Regional Airline Association convention. The So José dos Campos base had a new factory built in 2002. In February 2004, type certification was received from the aviation authorities of Brazil, Europe, and the United States. The first aircraft was delivered in March 2004. The family has E170, E175, E190, and E195 airliners.
6. The Boeing is a plane.
As of December 2021, the total deliveries were 1,677.
1993-present production.
The triple seven is a long-range widebody aircraft developed by Boeing. It is the largest twinjet ever made. The aircraft was introduced to fill the gap between the two aircraft and replace older DC-10s and L-1011 tri-jets. United Airlines was the launch customer.
The prototype rolled out on April 9, 1994, and the aircraft flew for the first time on June 12. Up to 368 passengers could be accommodated in a typical 3 class configuration. The type can fly from 9,700 to 15,843 km. On June 7, 1995, the B777-200 began to fly.
DC10 and L-1011 were to be retired in the late 1980s. The A330 and A340 were being worked on by Airbus, while the MD-11 was being worked on by McDonnell Douglas. Boeing considered stretching the 767. Airlines weren't interested in it. Boeing went for a clean sheet design. The airlines were interested in the broader fuselage cross-section, fully flexible interior configurations, and short- to intercontinental-range capability. The twin-engine configuration was chosen for the Boeing 777.
The ER and LR variant gave flexibility to the whole program, and the new 777X is undergoing flight tests. The freighter version of Boeing was launched in 2005. Air France received the first freighter.
The Experimental Boeing 777X is exclusive.
5. The Boeing 727.
As of 1984 the total deliveries were 1,832.
The production took place in 1962-1984.
The Boeing 727 is a narrow-body aircraft. There was a need for smaller jets that could serve small airports. The 727 was launched. The program received 40 aircraft orders from United and Eastern Airlines. On February 9, 1963, the plane took to the skies. On February 1, 1964, the type entered service with Eastern Airlines. The last plane rolled out in September 1984 after being produced for more than two decades. Boeing built more than one thousand tri-jets.
The only trijet produced by Boeing is the Boeing 727. It has a T-tail and is powered by low-bypass turbofans. The engines are located at the back of the plane. The airline could carry 106 passengers in two classes.
The stretched -200 variant first flew in 1967. It started flying with Northeast Airlines in December. 134 passengers could be carried in two classes over 4,720 km with the 6.1 meters extended -200 variant. The type was used for domestic flights only. Boeing 727 operated its last passenger flight between Zahedan and Tehran on January 13, 2019.

4. The CRJ Series.
As of December 2020, the total deliveries were 1,955.
The production took place from 1991 to 2020.
The CRJ series is a regional jet series. The aircraft completed its maiden flight on May 10, 1991. The first and second generation of the CRJ were launched in 1991.
The CRJ project was launched by Canadair after the success of the challenger series to enter the market in the early 1990s and sell around 400 planes. The process was economical and development costs were less than other projects. CRJ 200 was manufactured in order to keep in mind the success and customer request. New engines were added and the plane was more advanced.
The first flight of the CRJ 200 took place in 1991. The CRJ 700 was launched after the success of the CRJ 200. The series was extended to CRJ 900, which could accommodate more passengers. The airliner faced stiff competition. CRJ 1000 was launched to compete with the E-Jet family. The aircraft couldn't keep up with the new aircraft from other manufacturers.
After 1945 CRJ series aircraft were delivered by Bombardier, the program was taken over by a Japanese corporation. The CRJ series is very popular among regional airlines and is in active service with many of them.
3. The A320 family is made by the same company.
As of December 2021, the total deliveries were 10,176.
Production from 1986 to present.
The A320 family is a narrow-body family of jets. The prototype flew on February 22, 1987. On April 18, 1988, Air France received the first A320. The A320 family aircraft have been delivered over 10,000 times.
The A320 family has many members in its family, which include Indigo, American Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, EasyJet, China Southern Airlines, etc.
The single-aisle narrow-body market is occupied by Boeing and Douglas DC-9. The A320 family received 96 orders when it was launched. Air France ordered 25 jets along with an option for 25 more.
The airline was awarded European Joint Aviation Authorities certification on February 26, 1988 after 1,200 hours of test flight. The A320 was stretched more and the A321 was launched more than the A320. A319 was born when A320 was shrunk. The A318 was born when further shrunk. The next generation and MAX series of aircraft had challenges with the A318. In the last few years, Boeing has been delivering more narrow-body jets.
Middle East Airlines has a family of A320s.
