The Blues and Wild will play in the Winter Classic on New Year's Day. Target Field is the home of the Minnesota Twins.

The high in Minneapolis on Saturday is negative-5 degrees. It feels like 21 degrees with the wind chill. As the night progresses, it gets colder. It was the worst NHL outdoor game on record when the temperature reached negative-7 degrees.

The Blues players wear a lot of fashion during the game when the temperature is sub-zero. There are a lot of Hawaiian shirts, shorts, flip-flops and bare chests.

This weather is a beach.

One player wore socks with sandals, which is a fashion faux pas. The flip-flops were on for the interview with the Blues defenseman.
