1. Check your warranty on your phone.

If you need a repair or just want to see your warranty status, you can do it on your device.

Go to the settings app.
"General."
"About."
You can see your device status by tapping on "Limited Warranty" or "AppleCare +".

If you have AppleCare +, the section will be labeled with your AppleCare expiration date. It will say "Limited Warranty" if you don't, and it will let you know when it ends.

If you pay the deductible, AppleCare + is good for two years or indefinitely, and it covers manufacturer issues and accidental damage per year, as long as you pay the deductible. It's a good idea if you're prone to accidents and want to make sure you can get an affordable fix if you damage your phone.

Apple's manufacturer warranty lasts for a year after you purchase your phone. It allows for a year of phone and chat support for manufacturing issues, and entitles you to hardware support.

Your phone is considered out of warranty once the year is up. If you didn't purchase AppleCare when you bought your phone, you have 60 days to do so.

2. The auto schedule low power mode will save the battery.

If you use the Shortcuts app, you can create an automation that will cause Low Power Mode to come on automatically, so you won't need to turn it on manually.

Go to the app.
"Automation" is what you can tap on.
The "+" button is pressed.
On the next screen, tap on "create personal automation."
Go to "Battery Level."
You can tap on the option that you want. "Equals x%," "Rises Above x%," and "Falls below x%" are options. You should use "Falls Below" or "Equals" for this shortcut.
The percentage can be selected using the slider.
"Next."
"Add action"
"Low Power Mode" is searched for.
"Set Low Power Mode" is what you can do.
"Next" is what you'll be able to do.
Leave the "Ask Before Running" option on if you want your phone to ask you before running. Turn it off if it is not.
"Done."

Your Shortcut will run when your phone hits the threshold that you set for Low Power mode. You can change the setting in the automation section of the app.

If you want to set Low Power Mode to come on at a certain time, follow the above steps, but use "Time of Day" as the first parameters, choose a time, and then follow steps 8 through 14.

Low Power Mode is designed to cut down on background processes to preserve battery life when your phone is low on battery, and your phone will automatically suggest a Low Power Mode pop-up suggestion when the battery dips below 20 percent. When your battery is at a higher percentage, using the Shortcuts app to create the Low Power Mode automation is a good way to get it on.

3. You can change the start page of your browser.

You can change what's displayed on your start page, as well as choose from a variety of sections, including Frequently Visited, Shared With You, and more.

Go to the web browser, open up the browser.
Go to a blank page.
The bottom of the page is where you can scroll all the way down.
On the screen, tap on "Edit."
The sections that you prefer will be the ones that you switch to.
If you want to pick a custom background for the browser, you can use the "Background Image" option. You can use your own photo or choose from the available Apple-designed background by pressing the "+" button.
If you want to use the same Start Page on all devices that you're signed into, you have to use the "Use Start Page on All Devices" option at the top of the page.
The "X" button can be found in the upper right hand corner.

Favorites, Frequently Visited, Shared With You, Privacy Report, Siri Suggestions, Reading List, and iCloud Tabs are some of the options you can choose toggling on or off.

4. Change the design of your browser.

Apple tried to change the design of the browser in the new version of the software, but the changes were not well received and they reverted to the standard design.

The bottom and top of the tab bar.

You can choose to move the Tab Bar to the bottom of the interface, or you can use the "Allow Website Tinting" feature, which blends the background color of the website with the URL bar.

Go to the settings app.
Go to the browser.
The tab bar is located at the bottom of the window. For the top bar, choose "Single Tab"
If you want to see your open tabs when the phone is held horizontally, you can choose "Landscape Tab Bar", and if you want to have the color blending feature when using the top bar, you can choose "Allow Website Tinting".

The top bar has a feature called "Allow Website Tinting". When you scroll down on a page, the URL bar will turn the background color to make it look better.

This interface can be used to remove Home Screen pages. At the grid view, tap on the checkmark under the page that you want to eliminate, and then use the minus (-) icon to remove it.

6. Passwords have two-factor Authentication Codes in them.

It's a good idea to set up two-factor authentication for any online account where the feature is available, and with the new version of the app, you don't need a verification code app like Authy for storing one-time passwords. The two-factor authentication codes that you use when logging into a website, with these codes regenerated every 30 seconds, makes it much more difficult for your accounts to be breached.

Apple has a feature for storing two-factor authentication codes with your iCloud Keychain passwords. You can add a code here.

Go to the settings app.
Click on "Passwords."
If you're adding a two-factor code for a login and password already stored in iCloud Keychain, you should search for the entry that you're looking for. If you want to add a new login, tap the "+" button.
You can set up a verification code after you access your login and password.
If you're enabling two-factor verification on the account, you should start the two-factor verification process for the website.
You can set up two-factor authentication with a QR code, but it requires two devices. You can use the "Scan QR Code" option if you have a code. You can enter the number that you're provided from the website if you tap on "Enter Setup Key".
After the setup key is entered, the login will update with the verification key.

You can use the verification code found in the Passwords app whenever you need to verify your identity with a one-time password. If you hold down on the verification code, you can copy it and paste it into the site where you need it, and if you have iCloud Keychain enabled, it will autofill across your devices.

You will need to set this up for each website.

When you see the QR code, long press on it with your finger to set up two-factor authentication on your phone. If you tap on the option to "Add Verification Code in Passwords," you can add the two-factor verification to your site login without having to use a barcode.

You can open up what you want to share.
Say "Hey Siri" to use it.
Say "share this with person's name"

At that point, you will be asked if you are ready to send it. You can reply with a "yes" to send the content.
