The NASCAR driver who inspired the anti-Biden 'Let's Go, Brandon' chant says he fears it's alienating fans and sponsors

Brandon Brown, the NASCAR driver who inspired the anti- President Joe Biden chant, fears it is putting off fans and sponsors.

"Let's Go, Brandon" became an insult to Biden after Brown appeared on a NBC broadcast moments after securing his first major victory.

A group of fans chanted "Fuck Joe Biden" as he spoke to a reporter. The reporter tried to ignore the chant.

She said that the crowd chanted "Let's go, Brandon!"
"Let's Go, Brandon" has spread across America. It has been used by members of Congress, one of the world's biggest streamers, and by a Southwest Airlines pilot.
Brown told The New York Times that he doesn't like the chant and is focused on racing.

Brown said that the chant may have driven away fans and limited his chance to get new sponsors.

"Our whole navigation is to appeal to everybody, because everybody is a consumer," Brown said.

I don't want to be involved in politics.

"This whole race win was supposed to be a celebration, and then it was supposed to be something that I was able to use to move up, and I really wanted to take advantage of that," Brown said.

I had to stay more silent because everyone wanted it to go to the political side. I'm interested in racing.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that Biden was unmoved by the chant.

She told reporters that he doesn't spend a lot of time focused on it.
