How to set up RCS Chat on Samsung phones with Samsung Messages

Nick Sutrich is from Android Central.

The process of rolling out the messaging features was slow and frustrating for all users. Everyone will be able to use the Messages app to get access to RCS, thanks to the decision by the search giant. Different wireless carriers dragged their feet, which led to the lagging behind bySamsung. If your carrier has enabled it, we can show you how you can set up a chat with your phone.

How to set up a chat.

There is no way to force the activation of RCS within the Messages. Your ability to use it is dependent on your carrier's use of the "Advanced Messaging" services. Your mileage may vary when it comes to receiving these features, even if you're using the Z Fold 3 or the S20.

You will be presented with a splash screen that will allow you to opt-in. The screen refers to chat features.

You'll be taken to the settings screen for Messages after you tap Agree. Simply tap Start and then your number will be added to the database.

You can open the Messages app on your phone.
The overflow menu button is at the top of your conversations.

The phone is foldable for less.

For the first time, a foldable phone didn't break the bank. One of the most fun and enjoyable phones that you've ever used is the Z flip 3, it's incredibly powerful and could just end up being.

You can't argue that it's better to not have to wait for your carrier to get access to the latest features of the messaging app than it is to have to wait for the best messaging app. You can do more with Messages.
