Southwest Airlines has stated.

Initial reports indicate that the flight was taxing to the gate and that a customer exited the aircraft via a rear galley door.

The man hopped over to the fire station. He locked himself inside a dormitory room, but firefighters were able to get the adult male to open the door. The captain of the on-airport fire department said that he was taken into custody and taken to a local hospital to be treated for a lower limb injury.

The flight continued onward. There is no word on whether the passenger will be charged.

It is an homage to Steven Slater, the flight attendant who cursed a passenger, grabbed a beer from the galley, and deployed the emergency slide, who left his aviation job in 2010. The man couldn't get a beer before he was peaceing out because Southwest Airlines still hasn't restored alcohol service to its flights.

The person said, "@crucker."

It's a bad idea to chase after your plane on the tarmac. A passenger in Australia who was late for his flight to Adelaide on Qantas's low cost subsidiary decided to try it. He missed his flight Thursday.
