England netball: Roses beat Jamaica 66-47 to seal series victory

The Commonwealth Games will be held in Bimingham, England, next year.

England defeated Jamaica 66-47 to win the three- match series.

The second game of the series was played at the Motorpoint Arena and the Roses took a 35-19 lead at the half-time break.

Jamaica was more competitive in the second half, but could not beat the hosts.

England beat Jamaica 55-45 in London last week.

Jess Thirlby, England's head coach, said he couldn't be happier with how they started.

It's another bit of history, since we haven't won a Test series against Jamaica in a long time.

The contest with Jamaica was postponed back in January because of travel restrictions between the two countries due to the coronaviruses.

The final match is on Sunday.
