Tiger Woods Doubts He'll Ever Be Full-Time Pro Golfer Again, 'That's My Reality'

The days of seeing Tiger Woods on the golf course are almost certainly over, because he doesn't have any plans to return to being a full-time golfer.

In his first interview since the wreck, Woods told Golf Digest that it was an unfortunate reality. It's my reality. I accept it and I understand it.

While a comeback is in the cards, Woods said there's no way the old Tiger's schedule will ever be seen again.

"I think it's realistic to play the Tour one day, never full-time ever again, but pick and choose, just like Mr. Hogan did," Woods said. You pick and choose a few events a year.

You practice around it, and you gear yourself up for it. I think I'm going to have to play it that way.

It was.

Woods said his recovery process has been brutal and that he was bed-ridden for three months.

The initial moments after the crash were so nerve-racking that Tiger was worried doctors would have to amputate his leg.

"I wouldn't say it was a foregone conclusion," said Woods, who was in a car crash. It was close if I was going to walk out of that hospital with one leg.

The tigerwoods is on IG.

Woods said he's been hitting shots with his son, Charlie, and getting better and better daily.

Tiger was adamant that a true comeback wouldn't happen.

"After my back fusion, I had to prove to myself that I could do it," Woods said. I did it, I had to do it. I don't think I'll be able to climb Mount Everest this time around.

I can play in the game of golf. If my leg gets good enough, I can click off a tournament here or there.

I don't think it's realistic to expect me to climb the mountain again and get to the top.
