Stone Ocean: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Season Six Anime Opening

Kamikaze Douga, an animation studio that blends computer-generated with 2D, previously handled the first four openings of the original Jojo's anime. It is still another winner for the series, even though it is not as overdramatic as some of the earlier openings and less flashy of the ones Douga has produced. A lot of that can be attributed to the song "Stone Ocean", performed by the Akebochi Rockets vocalist Ichigo. There is a fun nostalgia vibe to it all, like an early 2000s animation, as the camera swings around the prison to show the inmates and guards before transitioning to some of the flashy action the series has come to be known for. The song will be available to stream on December 1st, the same day as the premiere of Stone Ocean.

Jolyne Cujoh is the daughter of Stardust Crusaders hero Jotaro Kujo. Jolyne was framed for murder and sentenced to prison in Florida, but her dad told her to break out before she was killed by a vampire who was an enemy of the Joestars. The pendant her dad gives her is what makes her Stand so she can kick anyone who tries to come at her while she is in prison.

On December 1st, Stone Ocean will be available on the internet, with episodes being broadcast to Japan in January 2022.
