Squid Game Has So Much CGI It's Almost Shocking

One of the many things that makes Squid Game so engaging is how real it is. The idea that people can get so desperate in their lives they are willing to do anything for money always rings true. These people are not competing in a running man-hung games type of competition. They are competing in simple games. The rules of the games are so simple that you can instantly imagine how you would play.

It was not simple to bring these games to the screen. A video posted by a supervisor on the show shows how much was used to bring the show to life. Some of it is obvious, but other moments are likely to leave your jaw on the floor. Check it out.

The glass-tile game was not 100% real. The rat in the tunnel and the room in which the players played tug of war were the same. I was surprised to see how much extension went into the pastel staircases. It is a little bit of a shock that the entire globe was a fake. The idea was presented in a much more epic way thanks to the beautifully integrated graphics in the show. When you can't tell what's real and what's not, that's when the best of the best is.
