The Los Angeles Lakers star was ejected from the Detroit Pistons game on Sunday for hitting a Pistons big man in the face.

Stewart had to be held back multiple times by Detroit personnel as he tried to confront James after he was hit. The Lakers were trailing by a lot in the third quarter.

Stewart was initially called for a foul for the loose ball. Lakers guard Russell Westbrook was called for a technical foul after an official review, as well as James, Stewart, and other players.

James has been ejected two times in his 19-year career. The first incident was against the Miami Heat.

The L.A. team had a record of 9-11, including an 0-1 mark on its five-game road trip that continues Tuesday against the New York Knicks and Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers.

Detroit was at 4-11 at the time.
