Hayden Christensen Will Reprise His Anakin Skywalker Role for Ahsoka

Star Wars Ahsoka Tanos is one of the best examples that Star Wars has to offer of how rich the franchise is. It manages to veer slightly from focusing on the Skywalker family or its personal significance in Force history. Although Anakin Skywalker was an integral part of The Clone Wars' cast, Ahsoka was allowed to grow into a dynamic and compelling character. Her eventual move to The Mandalorian, where she was live-action, was one the most significant moments in the franchise's history.

Fans want to learn more about Ahsoka's relationship with Anakin, even though she is her own person and will follow her own path in Disney+'s Ahsoka series. Rosario Dawson stars as the title former Jedi. Ahsoka touched on Ahsoka's relationship to her former master, but it was not clear how the show would go about it.

It seems that the answer may be simple. According to the Hollywood Reporter Hayden Christensen will reprise his role in Ahsoka as the Chosen One, a well-known Youngling killer, five years after Darth Vader's death. Although his time as Skywalker is controversial, Christensen's return to Ahsoka isn't surprising considering that he also appeared in The Rise of Skywalker and was already scheduled to reprise his role on Disney+'s Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series, starring Ewan McGregor.

It is possible that Ahsoka will encounter Anakins Force ghost. This would give them the chance to have a discussion and possibly find some answers that were not possible before his death. There could be something even more sinister in the works, which might make Palpatines' hiding-in-secretsy business look bad. This is Star Wars, where everything is possible.

Production on Ahsoka is expected to start sometime in 2022.
