The latest iOS 15.1 beta includes iPhone 13 Pro camera features

Apple has revealed two new features for the iPhone 13 Pro's camera in iOS 15.1 developer beta. Users can now record video using Apple's ProRes codec and there is a way to disable automatic macro mode switching (via9to5Mac). Users have now access to the toggles with the release of the third beta. This could be a sign that these features are near.
The iPhone 13 Pro automatically switches from the main camera into the ultrawide camera when it senses you are close to a subject. This allows for the close-focus macro mode. Apple promised to add a setting that would turn off the switch, which was found by some reviewers to be jarring. Reddit users who have seen the beta version of the setting have had difficulty seeing the same results even with the Auto Macro setting off. It is possible that the setting may have bugs or work differently in the final release.

You may need to polish the Auto Macro setting.

Halide just released an update for the iPhone 8 and higher that includes a macro mode.

9To5Mac takes a look at ProRes video shooting in beta. It reveals that Apple is using the 422HQ flavor of ProRes. The iPhone 13 Pro models can only shoot in ProRes color grading-friendly ProRes format. The 128GB phones can only record the codec at 1080P, instead of 4K.

iOS 15.1 could be a major release, if all the beta features are in.

These features might appear in the 15.1 official release. However, it is not certain that SharePlay will be there. SharePlay was present in iOS 15 beta versions before being removed. It returned to the 15.1 beta. This beta also supports adding a COVID vaccination certificate to Apple Wallet. If everything makes it in, this could prove to be a very big release.

Apple has been testing a number of features not yet released, as well as a series of beta updates and patches. Apple released Tuesday's firmware to improve Find My Support for AirPods Pro & Max. Although macOS Monterey is still missing and the stunning-looking Universal Control feature it comes with are not yet available, we have the promised Safari redesign for older OS versions (unfortunately).
