Network Address Translation (NAT), which determines how traffic is handled, is an important part of connectivity in online multiplayer games. Your NAT type plays a significant role in the people you are able to play with. If it isn't set up correctly, it can even create barriers. Port forwarding can help you overcome any NAT type restrictions or double ones. For many, simply ensuring Universal Plug and Play is enabled on the router is enough. This is how to change the NAT type of your PlayStation 4 to allow you to play online.
How to move your 4?
While the ports that your PlayStation must open to enable an open NAT are identical, the process can vary from router to router. These steps are the same, but you might need to look at your router's settings in order to find what you require.
