AmaWaterways' new ship makes debut in Egypt

AmaWaterways' brand new Nile River ship, the AmaDahlia set sail for its maiden cruise to Egypt on Sept. 6.
Luxor's guests were welcomed by local musicians before embarking on a seven night cruise.

There are 36 staterooms in the AmaDahlia, 16 of which are suites. The main restaurant and the Chef's Al Fresco restaurant can be enjoyed on an open deck. On the sundeck, there is a bar and swimming pool.

Three nights at the Four Seasons Cairo hotel is included in the 11-night Secrets of Egypt & the Nile itinerary. After the cruise, guests can stay at the Four Seasons for one night and receive a private tour and farewell meal at the Abdeen Presidential Palace.

After spending three nights in Cairo guests will fly to Luxor where they will embark on a seven-night roundtrip cruise. This cruise visits Luxor Edfu Aswan, Qena, Aswan, Aswan, and Aswan.

The AmaDahlia offers guests entertainment as well as sessions with Egyptologists, who share their insider knowledge of Egypt's secrets and mysteries.

You can extend your stay by adding three nights in Dubai, four nights in Jordan or four in Israel before you go to Egypt.

AmaDahlia visitors must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Travelers must submit a negative PCR test print and bring with them an Egyptian health declaration form.
