Group FaceTime revolutionized virtual group hangouts worldwide with its introduction. However, the interface for group FaceTime was confusing. There were randomly-sized bubbles and no indication of who was speaking.Grid View is a feature of FaceTime iOS 15. It solves this annoying but small problem. Grid View allows you to arrange your video chat participants in neat squares on your screen. A white outline will appear around the box for whoever is speaking.The best thing? The best part?Grid Mode can only be activated if you are in a group FaceTime.Grid Mode technically works on single FaceTimes, but it doesn't look any differently. For those who need to refresh their memory, you can either go to your favourite group chat and hit the FaceTime icon at the top right to video chat everyone, or you can head to your FaceTime app and tap "New FaceTime" to input the name of the person you wish to call.Tap on the screen once you are finished with the call to bring up the toolbar.You'll find the settings that you can change, such as mute, video off/on, and SharePlay at the top of the screen. If you are using FaceTime, the name of the call or the names of the participants should be above all the settings. Tap this to open additional settings for your call on a new screen.Click on "Grid Layout" to make the button turn white.A white button indicates that you have it on.
