You have the option to play on the move but still want more control than what you can do with the phone touchscreen. iOS 13 and later allow you to connect your Playstation controller with your iPhone via Bluetooth pairing.You can do the same thing with an iPad or some Xbox controllers, but we are focusing on how you pair your PS4 DualShock controller and your iPhone.Here are some ways to connectNavigate to the Settings menu of your iPhone. To access the Bluetooth menu, tap "Bluetooth". You might have it turned on already, but it's possible that it isn't. If it isnt, you can turn it on by clicking on the toggle switch at top of screen. When Bluetooth is on, it will turn green. You can keep the Bluetooth menu open to see when your controller appears and pair it. Press the Playstation and the Share buttons simultaneously on your PS4 controller. Keep them down until your controller lights up. You will see DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller appear in the Bluetooth menu of your iPhone under Other Devices. To pair your controller, click that button. When the light at the back of your controller stops blinking, it turns reddish-pink and is marked as paired.You can pair your PS4 controller instead with an iPad by following the same steps.How to DisconnectThese steps will help you to disconnect your controller once you're done playing.If your phone supports face ID, swipe diagonally across the screen from the upper left to the lower right. Touch ID phones: swipe up from the bottom. Hold the Bluetooth icon down. A menu will appear. The icon that says Bluetooth: On will appear. Press and hold the button. All available devices, including your DualShock controller, will be displayed. To disconnect, press the controller name.The Bluetooth menu can be accessed from Settings.
