50 years ago, Carroll Shelby and AC produced one of the best combinations in automotive history, the AC Cobra. With a small-block Ford V8 and the nimble British chassis, the car was an instant success and went on to become a racing legend. While AC had its troubles over the last five decades, they're back with the original Cobra - but this time with a battery and electric motor in place of the V8. AC modified the ladder frame to accept the new drivetrain, with the 54 kWh battery mounted in the engine bay to preserve the Cobra's road-going dynamics. Range is an estimated 150 miles, with a 0-62 time of 6.7 seconds. Production will be limited to 58 units, with reservations starting now.
