Evans wrote that he was going to thank the host before he left, but the host introduced him to three other people.

Evans said the two of them immediately connected. It was as if the rest of the world ceased to exist when we left the others.

He didn't initially recognize her as they spoke, but he tried to stay under the radar by wearing a sun hat and glasses.

It was weird to share with someone I didn't know, but I did. He said he was fascinated by her childish wonder. Even if I didn't know it, I lost track of time. It was love at first sight for me. She put her personal cell phone on the back of her business card.

As the clock was running out with a scheduled sentencing date fast approaching, she requested a new trial on the grounds that a key government witness visited her home.

The witness was Adam Rosendorff. Evans spoke with Rosendorff when he appeared at their home, and that's how the motion was based.

Evans wrote "He said he felt guilty, it seemed like he was hurting." He said that the prosecutors tried to make everyone look bad when he was called to testify. The government made things sound worse when he was on the stand, according to him. He felt like he had messed up. He said he was having difficulty sleeping.

It backfired on her when Rosendorff stood by his testimony and said that she needed to pay her debt to society.

He stressed that his testimony was accurate, despite the fact that he felt bad forHolmes because of the possibility that her child would grow up without a mother.
