Right now, our favorite barefoot shoes, the Z-Trail sandals, are half-off, at around $40. Our favorite road running shoe from the brand, the HFS, is on sale for $60+, up to 45% off, and the Prio is on sale for $54+, up to 22% off. The Mesa Trail is on sale in both men's and women's sizes for $36, which is $8 off the regular price. There is a sale through October 3.

What is the difference between shoes with no laces and shoes with laces? Protection isn't always what you want when it comes to the modern shoe. Feet were made to stretch, flex, roll, and bend, and letting them do what they evolved to do can reduce impact injuries. You need to get used to barefoot shoes. Why we like the shoes.

There are shoes.

There is no padding in barefoot shoes. Zero-drop shoes are also flat and have no heel rise. You can feel the ground beneath your feet with the flat, minimal sole.

When I first tried the Z-Trail sandals, they changed my life for the better, and I still like to wear them. There is a balance between cushion and freedom of movement. The Z-Trails have 10 millimeters of cushion, which makes them a good option for newcomers, though you should take it slow if you're new and wear them for short periods of time.
