Evan, Kyle, and James believe that this setup will encourage a new type of "remix culture" to spread through the music industry, allowing the reuse of intellectual property that will lift all of the creators that contributed to a viral hit. The technology makes it easier to do this, even though it may not be innate.

Pastan says that people resist anything in web3 because they think it is a scam. We have always leaned away from the speculative part of the coin.

To make this dream happen, Arpeggi is aiming to go beyond developing a protocol and build an entire in-browser digital audio workstation that allows producers to mixBlockchain-minted beats while integrating with the wider arena of web2 and web3 music platforms

The free platform serves as a hub for creation but consumption, an opportunity that may alignBlockchain incentives but also presents a challenge for finding a cohesive audience.

The company hasn't decided if they're going to issue a token for the platform, but they're excited about the idea of the industry doubling down

Kyle says that any sounds that you hear are sounds that you should make.
