Dramatic footage shows killer whales using a rare hunting technique to kill a seal.

There is a video that shows four killer whales attacking a seal. The ice platform was floating on the water.

The seal's large ice platform was cracked by a wave when the killer whales began swimming side by side.

The whales knocked the seal off the ice and into the water.

The whales blew bubbles to confuse the seal and make it easier to catch.

According to the documentary, there are only about 100 killer whales that use this technique. It's called wave-crashing.

The killer whales are known for their aggressiveness. The animals are able to rip out the internal organs of great white sharks with surgical precision.

They might use echolocation to find the fattiest organs in their prey, according to an expert.

There's no reason for killer whales to be hunted larger than them. They attacked and killed at least two blue whales in rare footage released earlier this year.

The blue whales were filmed swimming into the mouth of the orcas to eat.
