The person who set up the chat can change the name of the chat and add new people to it.

It's bad news that there's no way to remove someone from a group chat.

There are ways to avoid this oversight. If you want to remove that person from a group chat, you can use the one you choose.

There are two different ways to have a group chat with fewer users.

How to remove someone from a Snapchat group

If you want to remove someone from a group, you can either set up a new group chat or ask them to leave.

Set up a new group chat

If you're in a rush, you can set up a new group chat that only includes the users you want to remove.

The three dots on the chat page can be tapped.

Ask the person to leave the Snapchat group

Asking a person to leave a group chat is the only way to remove them from the app.

Whether you use it or not depends on how comfortable you are with confrontation.

Even if someone else in the chat saved the messages, they will be deleted from the group.

You can leave the group if your request isn't successful.

To do that, you need to hold the chat name and tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.
