For some time, Apple has been trying to remove users from the home button.
The most recent models of the phone do not have a home button. You can place a virtual home button on the screen.
You can put a button on the screen with just a few taps, even if you don't have a button on your phone.
There is a way to do it.
There is an accessibility feature called Assistive Touch that can be used to add a home button. There are differences in the way you do it depending on your version of the device.
This is the first thing. You can start the settings on your phone.

The green background will change from a gray background. There is a button on the screen.
If you have unlocked your phone, you can turn on Assistive Touch by saying "Hey Siri, turn on assistive touch."
The button that hovers on the screen is Assistive Touch. It should show up in a menu with several buttons. The same thing happens when you press the home button on the phone.
You can change the buttons or add them to the Assistive Touch menu. The Assistive Touch button can be used as the home button if you remove all the buttons.
The AssistiveTouch button can be moved to where you want it to appear by dragging it.
