China's space station gained a new module and a pair of huge solar energy-capturing "wings" that can rotation as the outpost travels around the Earth.

A new video from China's human spaceflight agency shows the solar array rotating around the space station as a blue and white planet passes below.

Wentian is a module that launched in July. As the space station continues along its path, the angle of the panels can be seen to change.

Wentian has two solar panels that are almost 100 feet long. They have a total of over 200 feet. There is a collecting area for each solar panel.

The final module will be launched in October. The experiment module will have a pair of large solar panels.

Three astronauts will greet the Wentian module as they prepare for their first spacewalk.

The solar panels are designed to provide power for the space station which China plans to keep for over a decade.

The International Space Station has solar panels on top of it's building to power its activities.

The International Space Station has a mass of about 500 tons.
