For those looking to join Xbox All Access, all three versions of the current-gen Xbox One model are eligible. This includes the Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and the Xbox One S All-Digital.
The cost for All Access depends on the type of Xbox console you own. The monthly cost includes a payment for the console, as well as membership to Game Pass Ultimate. Here's a breakdown:
Xbox All-Access is a monthly subscription service similar to Game Pass where you pay for a brand new console (either the One X, One S, or One S All Digital), a Game Pass Ultimate membership, and Xbox Live Gold. You get all the benefits from each in one package that costs less then having each individual.
The next generation Xbox, dubbed Project Scarlett, arrives next year and fans will be able to upgrade to the console through Xbox All-Access. If you sign up for the membership before December 31, 2019 and purchases the Xbox One X option, you can upgrade to the Project Scarlett after making 12 monthly payments. If you sign up for Xbox One S or Xbox One S All-Digital, you're eligible for upgrade after making 18 months worth of payments.
When upgrading to the Scarlett, you must sign up for an additional 24-months of the service.
