Paul Sorvino passed away at the age of 83. The gossip website has learned.

The actor died this morning with his wife by his side, according to a rep. Dee Dee says that there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of her life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage.

Paul appeared in nearly 50 movies over the course of his career, and he's best known for playing mobster Paul Cicero in "Goodfellas."

He played Henry Kissinger in "Nixon" and Fulgencio Capulet in "Romeo + Juliet" In 1970, Paul made his film debut with "Where's Poppa?" and went on to act in TV shows like "Law & Order" and on Broadway.

The TV show "godfather of Harlem" was one of Paul's final roles.

Sorvino's dad was an immigrant from Italy. Before he got into acting, Paul wanted to be an Opera singer.
