The pictures of my flight are on this page.
There are 20 Business Class and 120 Economy Class seats. Business Class has more than enough leg room, but it doesn't go completely flat.
There is a full lunch on the menu. There are four main course choices.
Wine is served from Azerbaijan.
Appetizers, nuts, salad, cheese, and bread are included.
About half of the flight was taken up. Azerbaijan Airlines is competing with other low-cost airlines for customers in the United Kingdom.
The meals in the economy class are very good. A full tray of food with vegetables, meat, and a dessert.
The portion of food on AZAL is more generous than most long haul flights.
The weather is clear over the sea. The sea is rough with a lot of waves on our way to Baku. It is known as a windy city because of it's location on the sea.
I was picked up by my friend at the airport.
Azerbaijan Airlines provides good food and decent service on their flights. They have a large fleet including A319, A320, B757, B767, B787 and A340 500. The airline has a good network between the east and west, but hasn't fully tapped into the location of Azerbaijan. The flight has been stopped.
From my flight experience with them, here are some pros and cons.
