After taking up residence in the harbors of Norway, a large and charismatic walrus named "Freya" is winning fans and enemies alike.

In a video shot in June,Deutsche Welle said that boats that are "not walrus-worthy" have been a problem. In the town of Krager, where she spent some time earlier in the summer, the video showed some of her best moments. The news outlet was told by two boat owners that they wanted to get rid of Freya.

Many people have come to the harbor to see the tusked icon in action after having a different reaction to Freya. She has been stressed and overwhelmed by both forms of attention. The crowds are too much for her to handle.

The expert said that she didn't get any peace.

Aae, a researcher at the University of South-Eastern Norway, said he observed TV news crews getting too close to Freya in their boats so that she couldn't escape. Harbor officials have been spraying her with a hose to keep her out of the water.

Aae said that she needed to rest for up to 20 hours. It's not good for her to be stressed out by people.

Aae thinks that people should not be near her.

Many people celebrate and root for her on social media when she picks up fans from afar.
