Quality of life improvements and security enhancements are included in the update, as well as the Tab Groups feature.

Tab groups allow you to organize and save your tabs into different segments. If you are planning a trip, you can save your tabs into a group. Apple takes Tab Groups to the next level with new features in the new mobile operating system.
Tab groups can be used with pinned tabs in iPadOS 16 and Apple's other operating system. Pining is an option if you want to have your tabs open all the time. If you want to pin a tab to a Tab Group, open up the Tab Group, long press on the URL bar, and choose the "Pin Tab" option.
Each group of tabs has its own Start Page, so you can have different favorites, frequently visited sites, and other options that are exclusive to each group of tabs.
To access the start page, you need to go to the Tab View and then press the "+" button. You can modify your Tab Group start page if you scroll down to the bottom. This is a process that needs to be done separately for each Tab Group so you need the Tab Group to be active.
Multiple people can contribute links and work together in any Tab Group you have created. Everyone can see the Tab Group update immediately.
A Tab Group can be shared if you tap on the share sheet icon at the top of the Tab View. You can send an invite using Messages and see who participates in the Tab Group interface.
PassKeys are meant to replace traditional passwords when signing into websites or apps, and Apple is aiming to roll out PassKeys in the next few months.
Passkeys are next generation credentials that are safer and easier to use than passwords. The public and private keys are stored on the website server. Face ID or Touch ID can be used to authorize the user to visit the website. Because the second key is private and only available to the user, it cannot be stolen, leaked or phished.
PassKeys rely on iCloud Keychain, which requires two-factorAuthentication for further protection. PassKeys can be used to sync across all of a user's devices through the cloud.
Passkeys will work on all Apple devices, but Apple is working with other companies to make it possible for Passkeys to be used on other devices.
If you've downloaded an extension on a different device, you can see it in the preferences of your phone's browser.
You only need to turn it on once once the extension is installed. You can find extensions in the settings app. You can easily download extensions that aren't on your device if they're listed in the "On Other Devices" section.
You can turn off the option if you don't want to share extensions.
Push notifications on the website can be found on the Mac, but they will also be available on the iPhone and iPad in the new version of the operating system.
There will be no support for web push notifications when the feature is added later this year.
Web notifications will be available on an opt-in basis, and you will be able to choose websites to receive notifications for.
You only need to set your website settings once because they will sync across devices. You can turn it off in the settings section of the app if you don't want to share settings.
When you're creating a website account usingSafari, it will suggest a strong password for you to use, which will sync with iCloud Keychain Some websites have specific requirements such as a certain number of symbols or capital letters that are not always fulfilled.
You can change strong passwords with the option to do so in Apple's new operating system.
There is a new focus option called Filters in Apple's mobile operating system. Users will be able to see a specific Safari Tab Group or Mail account if they choose to use a filters. The app with the filter will only show what you've selected and not anything else.
Tab Group accounts can be associated with a Focus. When you're in the Focus, you'll only see the Tab Groups you've selected.
It's possible to drag subjects out of images in the Safari app with the fun feature in Apple's new operating system. Pick the "Copy Subject" option if you want to open up a page with any image.
You can use the Messages app to paste the main subject of the image into another place.
