It can be fun to modify the features on a Mac computer.

The lock screen wallpaper and the desktop background can be changed to make your Mac feel like home. Adding a custom message and a newavatar to your mac computer lock screen is possible.

If you live or work in a place where many people use the same type of Mac, this can be useful.

There is a way to change the lock screen on your mac.

Change the desktop background image

If you want to change your lock screen, you can change your desktop background. Changing the lock screen will change the lock screen on your desktop.

You have to find an image to use as a lock screen. It's important that it's a.png file and that it fits the resolution of your computer. Follow the instructions below.

This is the first thing. The Apple icon is in the top left corner of the screen.

There are two To open the folder, double-click it.

There are three. You can change the background and lock screen wallpaper in the desktop tab.

If you click on the plus sign in the bottom left corner of the desktop tab, you can choose a lock screen image from another folder. Go to the folder with the image and choose it.

Replace "lockscreen.png"

Keeping your desktop the same is one of the ways to change just your Mac computer or MacBook screen wallpaper.

This is the first thing. Use the preview to open the image. IfPreview isn't your default image viewer, click the image to open it.

There are two Double clicking the name at the top of the preview window will bring up the lockscreen.png.

There are five. Click on the pop-up window to enter the library or cache.

There are six. To open it, double-click the folder.

There are seven. To open the folder, double-click it and you'll see a bunch of numbers and letters.

There are eight. You can change the lock screen image into a new one by dragging it into the folder.

Next time you log into your Mac, you'll see a new lock screen image.

The lock screen image will be replaced if you change your desktop background in the future.

Include a custom message on the lock screen 

A warm greeting can be a custom message.

There are four. If you want to show a message when the screen is locked, tick the box next to the one you want to show.

If you want to see the message on the lock screen, you need to enter it.

Add a custom avatar to the lock screen on your Mac

You can change theavatar on your lock screen if you don't like it

Select System Preferences by clicking the Apple icon in the top left corner.
