As long as you're using Chrome, you'll be able to use keyboard shortcuts to cut, copy, and paste files in Drive. The feature will use just a minute. Are you telling me that we can't already do this?

When I pressed Command + C on a file, then went into a folder and pressed Command + V, nothing happened. There is no mention of the functions in the December 2021 archive of Drive. It isn't like keyboard shortcut for copy, cut, and paste have been around since the invention of the invention in the 1970s.

You will be able to use the standard Control / Command + C, X, and V to copy and move files like you would in any other program. The feature should be available to everyone by June 4th.

At least its implementation isn't half-assed, even though it's very late to the party. The feature will work across different tabs, but it adds the basic keyboard shortcut for opening a folder as a new tab. If you copy a file and then try to paste it into an email, it will insert the file's title and link to it.

If you don't want duplicate versions of files in your cloud storage system, you'll be able to paste shortcut to files. The command will be Shift + V.

On Wednesday, it was announced that the ability to select multiple blocks of text would be coming to Google Docs.
