A new feature that was added on Wednesday will allow you to highlight more than one selection of text at once in order to perform formatting functions on text more efficiently.
Users will be able to copy, paste, and add other formatting to multiple sections of text at the same time, according to a detailed description on the Workspace Updates blog.
It will make editing documents faster by eliminating the need to make repetitive changes, and increase your overall productivity, according to a statement on the website.
There is no need to start using the update. It might take up to fifteen days for it to be available.
The feature is available to all users of the workspace, meaning that it will most likely be used in programs such as spreadsheets. It's also available for G Suite Basic and Business users. It is compatible with all operating systems.
You can add your desired formatting after this.
The multiple text selections are only one of the new features in the doc. Two weeks ago, the tech company hosted the keynote for its I/O developers conference, where it showcased a host of new innovations. There is an auto-generated summary for the tool.
The feature uses machine learning and natural language processing that is already used in similar features in other services.
The summary feature is expected to be added to the chat in the coming months.
