Rapsodo's Mobile Launch Monitor harnesses the power of smartphones to offer many of the same metrics in a device that's a fraction of the size and price. Set a phone atop the monitor, launch the app, and it will track distance, launch angle, launch direction, ball speed, and clubhead speed all while capturing video of each swing. The resulting data can be viewed alongside the video (complete with TV-style ball-tracking graphics), as a chart, or overlaid on an aerial, GPS-based view of the range. The entire thing folds up small enough to fit in a case that clips onto a golf bag and recharges quickly via USB-C.
