The newest version of the popular browser, called Firefox 100, is an alternative to the two browsers. New features for both mobile devices and the desktop are included in Firefox 100.

High Dynamic Range (HDR) video is supported on Macs. The feature requires a Mac with a compatible display. There are subtitles and caption when using Picture-in-Picture mode on the desktop. The Web VTT format is supported by websites such as Prime Video and YouTube.

Credit card autofill has been added to the UK, France, and Germany, as well as a new language switch feature that allows Firefox to detect a device's language preference and ask whether a user would like to switch to their preferred language.

The update for the device includes a new browser wallpaper for personalization, as well as a new history and tabs that are clutter-free. You can find all the websites you visited under a specific search term if you group history items by the original item. It is now possible to find history.

To make it easier to swap between tabs, the tabs in the tab tray will now be focused on recent ones. When a tab has not been visited in 14 days, it is moved to an inactive state in the tab tray. The tab is out of the way until you need it.

The updated version of the browser can be downloaded from the website or from the App Store. The features will be available later this week.
