The Chorizo Burger will only be around for a limited time, according to Whataburger.

It comes with two beef patties, chorizo, poblano peppers, red peppers, onions, Monterey jack cheese, and cream chili sauce on a toasted bun.
Rich Scheffler, Whataburger’s VP of marketing and innovation, said the brand has high hopes that the burger will make fans happy.
“The flavors on this burger blend nicely for a balanced but savory taste we think our customers will enjoy,” Scheffler said in a release.
Chorizo is a flavorful pork sausage that is very popular for its distinctive taste. Simply put, it’s a Mexican family menu staple. It’s moved from taquerias around Texas and into mainstream kitchens over the past decade. Having chorizo on a Whataburger item is a big deal to say the least.
